How to Calculate the cost of Framing
The cost of framing is determined using UNITED cm's or inches, or simply put the short side plus the long side. This is explained here:
Length + Width = UNITED Inches / Cm’s
Once you have determined your united measurement, use the two columns on the far left to find out the cost of your mounting. If your united measurement is not there, please use the next price up.
(eg. 65 UNITED INCHES will be charged at the 67 UNITED INCHES rate)
Don’t forget to add the cost of hangers if required
Shipping framed prints
If we are sending your mounted print to you, you must add the cost of heavy duty packing to your order.
Small (up to 12 x 16 inches) $15.00
Medium (up to 20 x 30 inches) $25.00
Large (up to 30 x 40 inches) $35.00.
Shipping costs for larger frames will be higher and depend on the size of the frame.
Glass options
We offer several glass types such as Art Glass, Non reflective Glass and perspex options, see the pricing below.
We are unable to ship any frames with glass, although there are external freight companies we can recommend if you choose.
Mat Boards
To calculate the pricing for a frame PLUS a mat board you need to add the size of the mat to the size of the print to get the overall united measurement. (eg. Print size = 20 x 30 cm – the default mat size is 50 mm (5 cm) Add these together – 20 cm + 30 cm + 5 cm on all four sides = 70 united cm’s)

Recessing
Recessing is where the print sits away from the glass. This is a custom service and must be specified at time of ordering. The cost of recessing must be added to the standard pricing
