As you're aware the X-Rite Display 2 monitor calibrator has been superceded by the new X-Rite i1Display Pro. However if you are a Windows user looking to purchase a low cost monitor calibrator, you cant go past a Display 2 unit especially as it's an amazing 50% off.
We don't recommend this unit for Mac users because Apple dropped the Rosetta engine from Mac OS LION and it is a fiddle to make it work on the new OS. However it CAN be used even on Mac OS LION using instructions below.

To get your 50% off Display 2, please go here and use
Discount Code: DISPLAY2PROMO
Please note: Only two units are available at this price.

Using X-Rite Display 2 with Mac OS X LION
Finally X-Rite has provided an upgrade path to permit i1Display2 users to run their instruments with Mac OS LION.
It is available at
X-Rite must have been pretty surprised by the reaction of both end-users and resellers who complained about the situation.
X-Rite, probably had no idea that Apple were going to drop Rosetta from Mac OS LION, although you could argue that X-Rite should have upgraded their software to run natively on Intel-based Mac's as Rosetta was ultimately going to disappear from the Mac at some point.
It seems X-Rite have listened and acted. Any customer who purchased and registered their i1 Display 2 or i1 Display LT from Jan 1st 2011 will be eligible for a free upgrade.
Customers who purchased the i1 Display 2 or i1 Display LT prior to 2011 will be able to get the upgrade for a small fee (to be announced).

Slightly Dangerous – The Cyclops Cypher

This new release by Cyclops Press celebrates forty years of photography by renown filmmaker, photographer, publisher and author John Ogden, and serves as a cypher to better understand his work. It is important to occasionally look in the rear vision mirror while hurtling headlong into the future, and Ogden's thoughtful work reminds us what is lost in the rush.

Ogden's career began as a photojournalist in Southeast Asia towards the end of the Vietnam War, later extending his practice to cinematography in multiple genres of filmmaking. His photographs are often direct yet quietly subversive, choosing not to shy away from political and social commentary, or provocative dark humour. In 1999 Ogden began Cyclops Press, an independent publishing house specializing in small edition art books that promote Australian photography, and has since published many award winning works

We love happy clients!! Hear what one had to say below!

"I received my panorama print from Pixel Perfect in the mail today and I must say it was pixel perfect – this is the first complete large print (43.6 by 18.8 inches) you have done for me and it won't be the last.

Not only was the print quality (on Canson Rag Photo) exactly as I expected, but the mounting on Gataboard was of the highest professional standard.

The packaging did a great job with absolutely no damage -I couldn't have asked for anything more.

I did do a small test strip myself on Canson Photo Rag but that was only to verify the sharpness of image – by calibrating my own monitor weekly and using the settings and ICC profile you sent me I have complete confidence in being able to predict the final result with a high degree of accuracy".

Thank you
