All the new products released at PMA 2008 are now in full production. You must see the exciting new products Leather Bound book (LX) and the Animal Friendly Leather book (FLX). The new clamshell style book presentation box has to be seen to be believed. Finally, the new 11x12.5 EX album is here and proving very popular.

You MUST download the new FileChecker Utility (V2.0) which is available for download at the Get Started tab at www.asukabook.com.au to access the new products. When installing the new FileChecker Utility, the activation code it seeks is your current Client ID.

Please also ensure you download new EX Hard Cover Book Bound templates (the one with the red or black slip case) as you need them to work with the new FileChecker. Old EX templates used on their own will create a "monster book" which we cannot produce if they are run through the new FileChecker Utility. A simple work-around if you have saved templates is to use the cover page from a new set of downloaded templates with the older pages.

A fantastic feature of the new EX range is that it's now possible to design on the dust jacket flaps on the inside of the book.

2008 - Expose Your World Competition
RovingEye and Pixel Perfect Prolab bring you the 2008 Expose Your World Photo Competition. With a total prize pool of $70,000, this year’s competition is bigger and better than ever, and we’d like you to be part of it. The focus is travel and the sensational prize list includes a luxury holiday at Tarraleah Lodge in Tasmania; a $10,000 Abercrombie & Kent Turtle Rescue Tour in Cape York; Nikon digital SLR cameras – a D300 and a D60; five nights at a Vibe hotel; an Asus notebook; SanDisk flash cards, Crumpler backpacks and a Manfrotto tripod. As well, your work could form part of the end of year exhibition with your images beautifully printed by Pixel Perfect Prolab. The finalists and winners work will also feature in the stunning coffee table book produced by AsukaBook which is of the highest quality and will be presented to each finalist as well as sponsors. This year we’ve expanded the photographic category and added more categories to include Video and Travel Writing. You may enter as many of the following categories as you like, as often as you like:

Young Australian Photographer of the Year (Aussies only, 21 years or under)
