(A celebration of Australian Birds)
To celebrate National Bird Week we are applauding some of Australia’s most unique birds. Come and meet Rosie, Claw, Squeak, Terry, Maggie and more!
All of these birds have a special story to share.
The idea behind Feathered Heads is to get up-close and personal with Australian native birds. The result is a striking collection of unconventional close-up portraits that show the beauty and personality of each bird.
For the last two years Angela has been meeting and photographing birds that have either been rescued, are an ambassador for their species or endangered.
20% of proceeds raised from the sale of this work will be donated to Birdlife Australia
National Bird week is hosted by Birdlife Australia and runs from 20th-26th October. The aim of this week is to inspire Australians to get involved in bird conservation efforts.
